January & February Athlete Races

Team Norris runners started off 2022 strong! Several were able to race in January and February. Those who were not racing were putting in the undeniably hard work of training through a rough winter. Huge shout-out to all Team Norris Athletes!! 

Team Norris Running January and February 2022 Races

Greg placed fifth overall and first master in a 5K…which he ran as part of a long run! 

Kelly won her age group in a New Year’s 5K! She also placed 4th in a local half marathon. 

Tracy completed her first marathon at the Carlsbad Marathon

Kimberly W. ran a course PR in the half marathon – with negative splits! 

Pete raced the Chily Willie Half! He also raced a 2:01 at the Suwannee half marathon as a early-season fitness test for the Buffalo Marathon! 

Richard ran a half marathon PR of 1:34:24 at the Fred Lebow Half! 

Krystal ran her first half marathon in two years at Fred Lebow! 

Mark R. completed the Dopey Challenge – without bonking in the full! 

Mary raced her first half marathon at the RNR Las Vegas half marathon and finished 8th in her age group!

Elisabeth S. raced the RNR Las Vegas half marathon as a tune-up race and finished 10th in her age group!

Prithvi worked up to running over a mile without stopping! 

Tom paced the RNR New Orleans as a steady tune-up for his marathon!

Zoe ran a 10K PR of 53:21! 

Team Norris Running January and February 2022 Races

Holly raced a 5K!

Glenda raced a 35:08 5K, which was her fastest 5K in over 20 years!

Aimee ran part of the Fort Ebey half marathon as part of a long run in 50K training!

Mark G. placed in the top 8% of the Central Park Half Marathon as an early-season race leading up to later spring half marathons! 

Rachel F. completed the Disney Princess 10K and half marathon!

Christine ran her first 5K!

Kimberly A. placed second in her age group in a 5K!

    Winning the masters in a 5k that was part of a long run is incredible. Well done, Greg!
